Oh! The lights from the cars
that flash along
Miss the beauty of nature’s countryside
“Jazz” “Green Eyes” poem
as read in quite a few venues

an amazing cat a comfort to me and all
I ask him to come and sit on the wall
As he cries Allo! Allo! Allo!
in different tones
to get a photo taken smelling
our golden daffodils

Snowdrops bowing their heads
among the primrose and crocus beds
lambs frolicking around
the weeping willow
cascading down

Colourful sweet peas entwining
the bamboo shoot canes
blackbirds returning to sing once again
pink blossom tree so high
pointing upwards to the sky

The red admiral butterfly
wings of brown and yellow
collecting pollen from the flowers
warmer weather coming forgetting showers

Pale mauve wisteria a delight to see
blowing in the breeze
the glimpse of the golden sun
peeping through the trees

Children making daisy chains
and playing games
lover’s walking down the lane
purple violets in memories of mother’s name

All these wonderful things’ take place
the beautiful bride veiled in lace
horse’s galloping along by the surf
gods blessings of babies new births

The old devil moon drawing
raging rivers that overflow
people have nowhere to go
each season is a new becoming
even the bees are humming

Passion flowers are hard to grow
stamens symbolise the twelve disciples
the taller stigma means the cross
the seeds of love are never lost

new celticman Gee! thanks comment lovely. Absolutely true, friend pick up then and say "can you here it purring no1 Mine doen't have a cat in, now I talk yes! to him by name and he is beautiful and stroke, like my "Green Eyes" poem says. Neighbour's permission for all done, and mine has come in now, sits on lap, also likes look out window. The Allo! Allo! bit three times, 3rd is different tone like someone cries help mayby or a name, but University now proved cat's cries do mean something, like a baby.Once day centre, then we did all groups 16-80 any talent bring out, three months filmaker came,I bought cat mask and tail cuffs,tail slots on a belt, whiskers on mask, and all our things put onto large film room Odeon, mind boggling see oneself read,and had hosts present with certificates and oscars. Wow. "Green Eyes" Tony Cook AbcTales wow! let me read 1st time "The Wheatsheaf" London. and BGT Brighton, judge said did I do, liked from a copy read. Hope your well we have been ill.ok now. Have you got sun-shine. Did you watch The Royal Wedding, I was overwhelmed what a day. julie xx

New Silver=Spun-Sand Wow! thankyou so much coming from great poet. One year on a holiday first saw Wisteria, now neighbour's wisteria is out. Don't know if a smell to it, is there. Just getting out to-gether? He was doing cleaning Bowls Good Friday very disappointed. Daughter's of to Egypt week soon miss them, going with some her side of family, been before Oh! that Royal Wedding what a dream.mine wouldn't take me London, so a friend came and we toasted Peach Wine, dabbled in dressing up t.v and hair bits Memories late Diana would been proud Prince William and Kate.Took photos of t.v. great but all in The Sun plus now ok magazine out of this world. New insertponceyfre Hi! lost comment twice No glasses on.Well mine changes his mind! Now says take me by train free can't make it alone yet. Captain Snooker and bowls. and on Good Friday! ugh! So now answered email re event go.Hope see you there.This difficult to do poems as technical hitches not my end comp finished now,Daughter's of to Egypt week with in law and hubby, not been before.But in laws have, bit worried of their health! atmosphere heat maybe.Hope not affect as both got a problem already.
