Love Song For Mother Nature

All winter, nature’s waiting in the wings;
waiting for her big chance to shine and sing.
You’ll see, she really is a superstar;
Spring’s a technicolour spectacular.
All winter nature’s so reserved and shy
but then spring hits you right between the eyes;
blossoms and flowers; birds and butterflys;
so pretty it’ll make you want to cry.
And when you see her,
it’s so hard not to
fall in love.
When you’re kissed by a
sunset or touched
by a dove.
When you are with the
boy or girl you love
hold them tight.
That’s mother nature, too.
Filling your heart
with sweet delight.
All winter nature has been so modest,
but bursting out of springs bright green bodice,
that’s when you suddenly feel the oddest
sensation that you’re facing a goddess.
All winter natures been a bride but soon
comes the spring and she’s on her honeymoon;
when springtime strips away her white cocoon
like love’s first kiss, you’ll feel the bliss of June.
And when you see her,
It’s so hard not to
Fall in love.
When you’re kissed by a
Sunset or touched
By a dove.
When you are with the
Boy or girl you love
Hold them tight.
That’s mother nature, too.
Filling your heart
With sweet delight.
