The fluorescent moon,
shines in illuminative glory,
gleaming into sleepless eyes.
Enchanting the sky,
like the soft edge of a fairies foot,
dancing along the water's rim.
In a delicious whirling,
of blue and pink splashes of colour,
descending, softly along the midnight sky.
With delicious anticipation,
the moonlit sky line inhibits,
our hopes and dreams,
as their rest their heads,
bidding the day good-bye,
to the oncoming call of dreaming.
The stars,
Twinkle and dance, a merry tune,
in frenzied excitement,to the rhythm of the moon.
