Cicada song
Do not test yourself here
Don’t break yourself against this shore.
I have my feet firmly planted,
My hands fingering the key –
I have journeyed through the first flame
To return a little singed,
But bored.
I had married well –
3 times in all.
I learned the lessons
The soft breast best consumed by a wicked mouth.
Mirrored moon,
Rumors & Truth
Peek from the corners
With spider’s wet trails
Leaving behind the stories.
I am the beggar outside the gates
Purposely fractured,
Always dependable but never available –
Like flickering wings.
