This room is stagnant-
but hope comes and goes,
shines but fades like snowflakes.
Casting shadows against the wall,
she fears the darkness
and when the light shines;
she gathers her body up- a human blind,
tries to keep the light alive.
Waking the bones, she can hear it deep inside
the rain outside finds its own root,
the voice within whispers-
“you're safe- today nothing can reach you,
the darkness is a safe distance away.”

- how gorgeous is that?! And '...gathers her body up- a human blind' - just brilliant :)
