Prologue
Sitting on a rock beside an enormous ocean, her hands supporting her body weight, feet bare and still, dipped in ocean waters, she was looking up towards eternity. She had a lovely oval shaped face. Her long beautiful dark brown curly hairs were flowing with the wind. Her blue eyes deep lost in memories of past; world forgotten. She must be remembering something too painful as tears were trickling down her eyes. She looked too innocent, just like a child, though she must be at least 18 years old.
"I love you too", she said all of a sudden. Though there was no-one around and she was not talking on phone. She must be recalling her lover then. But she was crying, they must have had a breakup. How can someone leave a girl so beautiful? How? And what was she doing alone in such deserted place? So many questions and still I had no courage for going over to her to put my questions. I just sat there from dawn to dusk, waiting for her to come out of her thoughts so that we could talk.
"Sarah" a loud woman's voice broke her trail of thoughts. She turned around with an amazing elegance and registered the woman's presence. She descended down from the rock and walked towards the woman with a quiet yet graceful pace. She hugged the woman once, and they walked away.
I craved to stop her. I was dying for answers for the thousand questions I had in my mind; but how? I couldn't. She was accompanied by someone now, she might get embarrassed. I got her name at least. Sarah. With a desire of seeing her again, I walked towards my hostel.
