I know this place
This not so far off place
In a dream I have had
Many times
The verdant bank of a river
Willow trees trailing
Branches into the water
Swans swimming
Disdainfully ignoring
Admiring glances
Their grace intrinsic to them
I have heard the quiet water sounds
Of a living river
I have felt the cool breeze
Skimming across the water
Refreshing me
The peace refreshing my soul
I know this place
It waits for me
Calls to me from my dreams
When I sleep again
I will search to find
The special place of my dreams

What better poem to read on a beautiful day like today (as it here, anyway). Much enjoyed, LG.
