Workers of the hive, rejoice;
Let us sing with one great voice;
May our precious golden hive
Ever prosper and survive.

There is no time to relax,
Housebees build your combs of wax,
Feed the brood and clean the cells,
Seal up the hive cracks aswell.

Workers of the hive, rejoice!
Let us sing with one great voice;
Joyous children of our queen,
Parts in a golden machine.

When we’re older we’ll go out,
We’ll be free to buzz about,
Working as hive collectors
Of pollen and sweet nectar.

Workers of the hive rejoice!

Every worker, queen and drone
Helps our hive to carry on.

Thankyou, Jenny. This is the kind of song that I imagine Bees would sing. I tried to give an accurate description of what goes on inside a Honey Bee hive/apiary. I've always thought that Bees were amazing creatures and so this is very much a tribute to them. JoHn
