Autumn Hues

Frosted lace upon a crimson leaf
Crystals of coldness lending
Extraordinary beauty to a masterpiece of nature
Mother Nature’s autumn pallet
Russet, red-gold, amber, bronze
Surely not just leaves on the grass
The ground an abstract painting
Chilly breezes guiding the paintbrush
An ever changing vision
A final explosion of colour
Before the spectacular glory of autumn fades
To usher in shades of winter
