Do you remember?
The salt in my hair,
The sand in my skin.
Do you remember?
The splash of turquoise,
The brazen blue sky.
Do you remember?
The flutter of laughter,
The whisper of love.
We found our dreams
We made our plans;
Woven together
Like our warm bodies.
We wrote our names on the shore
So quickly washed away.
