There was a cheeky little slug
Its skin all cold and slimy
I was washing pots one night
and there it was, stood by me
I don't know how it got there
with its slippy slimy skin
I just wanted to pick it up
and put it in the bin!
But...I couldn't do it!
I could not cope with the guilt...
And so I watched it slither
to a drop of milk i'd spilt
Consequently educated
as to what slugs do -
then as to my disbelief
I watched it do a tiny poo!
I did not know that slugs do poo!
who knows between are far and few
and once I knew that slugs could poo
I can't help myself thinking..."Ew!"

Hahaha, lovely. Slugs and
Hahaha, lovely. Slugs and snails, a gardeners nightmare! I chuck mine (when I find them) in the fishpond - saves feeding the fish :)
That reminds, me I wrote a tale about snails once, must dig it up.
Loved your little ditty, brought a smile...

Lovely little ditty.
Mary had a little slug, it's fleece was horrid slime, and everywhere that Mary went, erm, I can't think of a rhyme.
