And now I have you
So delicate and white,
Lost within the indigo night.
You fell from the sky and collapsed,
Mimicking the dying stars,
Falling endlessly through the abyss.
Like a silken cloth,
You tumble through my fingers
Folding and creasing,
Laugh lines drawn deep onto your face.
We drop together,
Two stones sunk at the bottom of an ocean,
Tense with joy
Eyes squinted,
Stomach twisted in knots.
... I see you
I see you more clearly now,
As two blades of grass blown by the wind,
We come together.

I agree with Jenny, this was a real treat to read, it flows like some of the images you describe, the ending is particularly beautiful with the repetition of I see.
