Can anyone tell me why God invented wasps ?
Nasty stingy buzzy things and slightly worse than moths.
They are the blight of summer and ruin day trips out.
By landing on your sandwiches and chasing you about.
They will go for you have no fear, they are angry little mights.
A look alike of honey bees but picking for a fight.
So hide away your sweets and jam ,icecream and chocolate too.
And dont be fooled they just wont go by wafting and saying shoo!!
Name me a person who likes them , i bet you won't find one .
And if you do i can tell you now they never have been stung.

I seem to remember that
I seem to remember that Chris Packham on Springwatch is keen on wasps, probably from exploring their wonderful nests when he was young! I must say I symathise with your feelings expressed from experience, but I do think they are supposed to clear out a lot of garden bugs early in the summer and only really become a nuisance late on when their work is done. Like a lot of other things they wouldnt have been pests when God made creation, but he's let things become so since we've rebelled, but has promised the new order soon will be perfect again.
