Today

The world can blow away in the wind today
I really can't be bothered to listen
to anything you have to say

There is comfort in the warmth of the air
touching my cheeks my eyelids
a golden darkness

My legs outstretched my eyes shut tight
summer clouds in a bright blue sky
I do not like to look

The trees they rustle bend they sway
but today it takes no notice
like me it wants to go away

The world can blow away in the wind today
I won't hold on but swim in a dream
to a sea of blue calm so far away
