Tombstones and Gondolas

Is it gold or is it silver
That tombstones on gondolas attract?
A colour of lime green with a riddle attached
Or should have Scotland retained
The orange and navy combo
Sporting Roger Waters’ “Basic facts.”

And shall the drawbridge remain down
Further into the night
In the hope that messengers might be requested
To pass on details of D.O.B., e-mail and name before marriage?

And will we be forever blessed
With contradictory Queens
Upon a broken conveyer belt
Whilst the landlord and his wife
Remain in their coffee house tavern.
