Como te llamas?
I thought I heard you
singing in the hall
But it was the wind
sweeping down from the Sierra
in the empty afternoon
I thought I felt
the heat of your skin
But it was sun
that streamed across the plaza
in the early evening throng
I thought I heard you
breathing in the night
But it was a zephyr
whispering your name
among the cafes and the crowds
Every sound and every smell
Every stranger in the street
asks ?Dónde está?
?Cuando vendrá?
on the corners
where the city's lovers meet
Where is she?
When will she come?
Como se llama?

Again, I really enjoyed
Again, I really enjoyed this. It conjured up for me foreign climes but having the expectation or hope of bumping into that special someone from your past.
Another really nice poem that has set me up for the day. I almost feel like I should be putting sun blocker on.
