this day is such a special one
she chose her favorite dress
so everyone that looked at her
would see her at her best
her hair she brushed so carefully
her part a perfect line
cascading to her shoulders
in symmetrical design
her lips she graced with color
that suggested loving kiss
her nails the hues of springtime
filled with youth and joyfulness
her face she deftly painted
but with such a subtle touch
her beauty brought out naturally
enhanced, but not too much
her job was now completed
and her artwork was now done
this day required perfection
and that clearly had been won
she looked down now in wonder
at the dead girl on display
she'd captured her full glory
for her funeral that day

Aha that was it, was it! I
Aha that was it, was it! I hope nobody paints me when I'm dead. Nice one Moonphish- I was sure she was going to a party or something. Clever.
