Gutted! I am an artiste. It's a metaphor representing the dichotomy of water outside and carpet inside and the implication for the continuity of a human life not enclosed in black neoprene. Wasn't it obvious, Pia? :-) x

It was just a daft and empty-headed reaction to all the rain and permanently damp conditions, Pia. I noted elsewhere that large slugs are harassing cats and dogs and emptying the bins at night. And that I saw one this morning delivering the mail. I also wondered whether anyone else had noticed their limbs becoming shorter. I think I just prefer arid. ;-) x

So do I PT and lots of warm sunshine which won't be around until Spring...I couldn't even be bothered to go for a walk today because it was so damned cold and wet. Ha ha- never heard of an umbrella! A pretty original take on rainy weather PT- I saw a photo from NY with a boat washed up on the railway tracks- so no trains for a while.

They don't even have that excuse where i am, although a spate of Anna Kareninas hasn't helped, Must be the weather. x
