laying in the summer grass

sky has never looked so blue

it must surely be alive

i'm not dreaming

soft clouds on parade will pass

flocks of anxious birds in view

suddenly the sound arrives

towards me beaming

can't recall the melody

notes were chosen from the air

strung together daisy chained

soft and gentle

wasn't of some earthbound key

it was of an essence rare

nature's message i obtained

elemental
