I've got a lovely bunch of limericks ...here they are standing in a row! (I.P.)

Limericks (I.P.)

I’ve been on that ABC site
And studied the writers that write
But I’m slightly confused
Because cherries are used
To show who is doing it right

The Bard thought his plays were the best
He’d write one and then take a rest
Then he would visit The Globe
And throw off his robe
So envious actors could see he was blessed

Have you heard what happened with that Friar
Whose advice to Romeo was dire
Give this potion to Juliet he said
But the two of them ended up dead
I think he’s going to be made to retire

Now we come to mad jealous Othello
Who in battle was brave not yellow
But evil Iago planted a seed
That grew like a weed
So now the poor chap’s a lonely old fellow

Oh, so it was Hamlet’s rejection
I thought it was his erection
But then that can’t be right
Tents are not allowed on this site
So Ophelia drowned through lack of affection
