Form over function

Form over function: I like form, but when push comes to shove, give me function. When a thing is designed well to function at its optimum efficiency, it has a beautiful form anyway. A bogus attempt, designed with cheapness in mind but pretending to beauty usually ends up being ugly despite everyone's best efforts. If we continue on the path of cheapening everything, soon nothing will work.
