i've got
stars stuck
in my throat
and i've been
living off of
secondhand
smoke. i'm
stealing whiskey
from stranger's lips
and i used to be sad
but i'm gathering a sick
sense of bliss. i like to
watch strangers kiss.
can i carry your bags,
miss? i'm not a bellhop,
and i didn't sign up for
this. my parents didn't
enchristen me and i have
been running through the streets
listening to the cars beep. i'm living
as a ventriloquist through a city that
doesn't listen, and while silence sometimes
feels like a prison, not making a peep
can keep you out of your seat
and i find that a treat.
life is
more than me.

good verse! Anymore?
I like 'life is
more than me'
could be a good refrain in longer piece..
