Who do I pray to?

 

It’s easier to ask

What do I pray for?

 

I pray for others

Just in case it works

In case it helps

 

Now I meditate

Warmed by sun

Freshened by the breeze

My thirst quenched

by a soothing HUSH

whispered from beyond the trees

 

And then it came to me

that when I pray

I speak to the creator spirit

who brings life to this place

 

Brings awareness

from the universal dust

Lets me see myself

among the everlasting dream

 

The briefest glimpse of everything

and then it’s gone
