Thanks everyone for your lovely comments and for taking the time to read my stuff.

The photo was taken on a stormy morning at Burns Beach, on the Sunset Coast of Western Australia... in the middle of winter, before one of my poetry sessions in the cafe.

I regularly print a few poems on postcards (like this) so give out during my sessions and suggest it's a lovely way to share your words.  I know the patrons who are not really interested in poetry, always take my postcards to send overseas and thank me for making them available.  They don't get left of the tables.

(The green plastic covers in the photo are for new native bushes planted to retain the sand dunes which, with the rolling tides, often get eroded.)
