The future is unknown
except to One alone –
his help I’ve so far known,
and he is on the throne.

If what I fear,
or something else,
my Shepherd’s care
will not prove false,
and in the end,
with troubles past,
I’ll join my Friend
and Lord at last.

We worry about so many things we can do nothing about. Faith is a wonderful thing, and a great comfort. Keep holding on.

Yes, Bee. 'Keep holding on' — like a little child holding a caring finger! Faith is sometimes thought of in a very vague way, but it is believing his promises, and the evidence, and experiencing.

That is the way my mind travelled in thinking about the phrase, and I'm much happier knowing I'll have the support whatever happens, than just hoping certain things, silly or otherwise, wont happen! regards, Rhiannon

Thank you, Tina. Simple, but real faith can seem so hard to many, but maybe because they feel they should be able to always manage everything on their own.

thank you, Linda, but faith is just believeing and trusting, and reading the Bible  helps to make it clearer, and praying God to give understanding and that faith. Glad you liked the verse. Rhiannon
