i enter your moods
like i enter a room
i frown if the wallpaper
fills me with gloom
i smile if there's roses
that on the wall, bloom
i enter your moods
like i enter a room
.
i enter your moods
like i enter a room
sometimes i feel breathless
encased in a tomb
sometimes i'm enthralled
like i'm fresh from the womb
i enter your moods
like i enter a room
.
i enter your moods
like i enter a room
if caught by excitement
i feel my heart zoom
if dragged to the ground
i anticipate doom
i enter your moods
like i enter a room
.
i enter your moods
like i enter a room
if left on my own
i can only assume
i'll throw out the poisons
and sprinkle perfume
i enter your moods
like i enter a room

hi Moonphish, good to see you
hi Moonphish, good to see you again. I always feel this form comes out a bit forced. I like the softness
of the first two lines. Lets hope all the moods you enter are good ones.
maisie Guess what? I'm still alive!

Hi there Alvin, very clever...the idea of walking into a certain mood and being affected by it. I liked this poem, it had a quality of anticipation about it...never being quite sure what to expect. Thanks for sharing. Jenny.
