No one has imagined us
We are real; true
Bursts of disembodied passions as
they rule our thirsts, our hungers,
our shortcomings, our infinite desires
to be somebody, to understand,
to tell the world we tried
Until solitude begins to weigh upon
us; first, softly, like the whispers of an eyelash,
hope diminishing until you would never know it was there
We want to kiss them; the treetops, thank them,
tell them they exist, we see them, soar the oceans,
feel blue, sink into remembrance,
request amnesty from love

I thought I'd try out people on the who's news list. Well done on getting cherrypicked and for a thought -provoking read. I think it'll stand up to many rereads.
