A lovely touch of cheerful
A lovely touch of cheerful summer, and bright creatures on a soggy morning, - but yes, we have got a touch of sun breaking out at the moment - we value it when it comes! Enjoyed this, I would love to be able to paint. Rhiannon

Love the way you have used
Love the way you have used the water colours to paint the scene as you wish to see it and to bring in the mood of the piece which in itself is a communication of love. I also like the way you move in and out of the now. Lovey poem.
It was strange to find this here today because I have just finished writing a poem using the idea of painting and describing step by step, a water colour picture, but of gold finches in thistles, using some of the colours you mentioned.
Really like your poem, Tina.

What a great picture you
What a great picture you paint with words Tina. Loved that second stanza, with the butterflies swirling upwards, what a beautiful sight that would be.
Really enjoyed reading.

loved this one Tina - if you
loved this one Tina - if you don't like the day you have, paint a different one! I think you have a rogue "a" in the second stanza
