The snow is falling

so lightly -- and people

are trapped in it

 

above their boots

covering thick socks.

After melting -- feet

soggy within moisture.

 

The winter does fool

people who wish to play

in the snow. Others

enjoy it for the change

it brings. No mosquitoes.

 

Richness in rabbit stew.

I think I will go out

and make a snowman.

Give him a big smiley face for me, Richard. Not sure about rabit stew but a nice bowl of Irish stew would hit the spot in this cold weather. Lovely snap shot piece to herald the (hopeful) end of a long winter. Nice one.

Thank you, Sooz... very kind of you. We are inundated with the white particles, as it descends in forever layers of crystals. I still see the beauty in each space between the droppings, light and innocent until they land, then---GONE.
