Reflection in you

I saw it, today, for a moment
Fleetingly,
My reflection in you.
I saw how I looked in
The love of your wide, stormy eyes
The hunger of your slight upturned mouth
The desire of the almost imperceptible parting of
your lips.
And in the exquisite mirror of you,
I saw it. Briefly.
I might be beautiful.

I like this very much. Direct
I like this very much. Direct and moving. I liked the ending particulary. There are loads of things I love.
And in the exquisite mirror of you,

If I were going to change anything it would be this line:
The love of your wide, stormy eyes
Thanks for reading. I am grateful for your time.

Simple and simply delightful. That it is simple in no way indicates that it was simple to write. The simplest things are often the hardest ones too. I love this edithrose.
