You Said

You said, Sleep was for sleep
not for tangling
limbs, the entwining
of arms, the linking
of fingers; interfering of feet.
Not for the snuggling
spooners that nuzzle
the necks with sticky thick lips,
or the snuffle
of snouts that snort
for scent, or strokers
of hair, scratchers
of backs, cuppers
of breasts and the chafers
of chests; the twiddlers
of nipples and fiddlers
of bits... Never cared
for affection to enter
your dreams -
you claimed Love was for love
and all to be done
must be done
to satisfy needs,
but that after the huff and the puff
and the mess of the stuff,
you must rest in your space
and put barriers up
because Sleep was for sleep,
just as love was for Love -
you believed.

Unless your dreaming about
Unless your dreaming about sex. In which cas you'd better get the name right if you talk in you sleep. But I'm with Celtic. Let sleeping dogs lie. Wonderful word play here, Deborah. Me like.

Like the assonance and the alliteration very much Bee. That, allied with the theme brings a particular feeling to this which I like very much. Well done.
