Tina, this left me heaving
Tina, this left me heavy with sadness, as it should have.
'to this endless present...
where your voice ricochets off dints
and hollows where the muntjac lies abed –
its slender form impressed upon the rye grass
and ink-tipped nettles...' - that's special. '
'and the absent touch of your hands.'
This is a gem!

Hello Tina,
Hello Tina,
It's me again. I sense your longing to be with your daughter shown by the words 'endless present' but then you would grieve just as much for the daughter still living in this 'endless present'. It is a hard path you have to travel but people still need you and your compassion in the here and now. One day it will be different. A wonderful collection of words beautifully displayed.
