I was watching a TV documentary about Andy Warhol and I thought I'd try doing something in the style of magazine advertisments.

Thank you, Airy Fairy. Children are happy playing with empty boxes until a toy advert, like the serpent in Genesis, teaches them that they should want a toy made in a Taiwanese factory and, after that, they never again know contentment.

Great format - love to see a bit of experimentation! I like how the natural voice is in normal font and the  modern voice is in 'screaming look at me' bold font. Can't agree more with the sentiments.

Funnily enough I think that sort of lie has been around in many forms ever since the serpent spoke! Peer pressure, trying to convince that buckets with holes work and satisfy, trying to distract from thought and compassion and appeal to the real source of comfort. Your format certainly is striking. Rhiannon
