Hi, Tina. A story in every line, like the things overheard in a shopping queue too, and we so easily start to put 2 and 2 together to make 7, or just imagine what that person's really talking about, what their life is like.Or sigh at shallowness. I think that's how some mystery plots start isn't it, by some odd overheard sentence … Rhiannon

I have to say that I found this more than interesting Tina.
I'm off to a funeral in a couple of weeks, my partners mum died. It's a big family gathering as she was much loved by so many.
You had the different conversations going on written perfectly and I imagine I'll smile at some of your one liners when I go to this funeral. Hope it doesn't rain though, because she's being buried.
Glad I found this one and many thanks for sharing.
Jenny.

‘all got to die sometime, I suppose’, you are so right, but I think somebody's words will endure forever, can't give you names
Find it amazing, Tina.

Those overheard conversations
Those overheard conversations, snippets of small talk wonderfully recrafted. Some made me smile right from the start- at least you brought a brolly. Lovely structure too- a narrative formed through a commentary. Most inventive :)

Love the use of quotes. So
Love the use of quotes. So much to be heard around us when we listen to what people are saying off mic.
