Patterns and Ploughshares

Dazzle and glare,
a rocket flare
‘Crack!’ ‘Bang!’s scare
– over there … everywhere!
Transient chrysanthemum
lighting the sky,
and serpents or spiderwebs
drawn as they fly.
Luminous candle
spews colourful smoke,
rotating wheel shoots
flames out of each spoke.
Melt guns into ploughshares,
their powder ignite
display to delight,
thrill, excite – bright
crackling patterns
of colourful light.
[IP: write something which includes three different fireworks.]
