Infinity

With an upwards surge
I am faced
With galactic skies
Stretching
Into infinity
With a tilt to the head
I am floating
In oblivion
As carbon dioxide
Slowly kills me
With a backward roll
I am watching the past
Die
Like the dying star
That burns out
And with a glance
I am submerged
In non-existing colour
In non-existing time
In an existing outer world
With a downward motion
That does not pull me
Yet grounds you all
To the core
Like a magnet
To my left
Imagined colours
To my right
Imagined colours
Because nothing's real
It's an illusion
By the brain
Because we
Are the aliens
In a world far too complex
And what we think we know
Is far from truth
Because in the end
Nothing is fact
And we live life guessing
Just to make it through
Which is ok
If you wish to be captivated by chemicals
That float around in control
Like an automated robot
Realise this
We are nothing
In a space of everything
And what we know
We really don't
