Fighting heart fire

Fighting heart fire
The embers of you
Have not yet died,
As flames still lick my ribs,
Stealing breath from inside.
Coals of simmering memories
One thought-drop of petrol
ENFLAMES! Thus it is true:
I will never be the same again.
Thoughts now crystal clear,
After years refined in fire,
Levitate amidst undeniable feelings
Whose rage makes me perspire.
What was supposed to die,
By water of too many tears,
Now lies dangerously burning
After too many years.
I am beyond exhausted,
Too limp for holding:
Great big fire extinguishers
On this unjustified burning.

Emotions run deep, and hurt
Emotions run deep, and hurt deeply for long time. Prayer and concern for the person concerned can channel to some positivity. From eternity our perspective on time length and trails will be different. warm regards, Rhiannon
