A celebratory sort of regret.
A celebratory sort of regret. So well paced and minutiae of your original details gives it potency.

I got how the regret is there
I got how the regret is there, but mostly cast aside in favour of reality. It made me cry reading. I guess so many of us have a story close to this one, and that's why the poem is so easy to relate to and make fit in with our own easily resurrected emotions.

I agree with what Bee said,
I agree with what Bee said, about being able to relate to your poem Tina.
It sounded like my own memory of lost loves, I often wonder what happened to them and where they are now. It's nice to look back on what little time we did have with them with happy memories, knowing what was shared was special.
Thank you for sharing yours.
Jenny.

Pick of the Day
This says a lot to me - I lost one of my very best friends just after Christmas and I feel his loss every day. Your words say a great deal and I am grateful for them. This excellent poem is our Pick of the Day.

Thank you
Thank you for such a lovely poem. How many people have experienced the very same. I felt a touch of sadness as it reminded me of my first girlfriend and I always wonder where she is now.
I agree about the potency. The poem is packed with powerful emotions and it resonates throughout .
