I am a sheradised annular nail -
which means I am sturdy and stable.
I fix down wood; try do it
with as minimal damage as able.
A sheradised nail is reasonably tough,
and resistant to watery harm -
not so tough as her galvanised chums,
but convinced this is part of her charm.
I try to keep hidden away - out of sight
so things on the surface won't snag.
I don't like to catch, or hurt anyone -
not even snag littlest rags.
No one considers the annular nail,
because it's not meant to be seen.
If it is, it's considered a nuisance,
and replaced where the old one had been.
