Omar's selections for The 1000 Guineas - feline embarassed

Oh well, you cannot win them all. I would at least like to win one race occasionally but sadly neither of my selections in the 2000 Guineas obliged to even get placed. As soon as I heard Simon Holt mention that Air Force Blue was being tailed off I put my left paw over my eyes and pretended to sleep to avoid the unfolding disaster. I think Stormy Antarctic got mentioned once but that was all.
I am so sorry to everyone who took my advice. I have lost two units of kibble to Chav so far this weekend. I have not and absolutely refuse to resort to opening a line of credit with her, generous as her terms and conditions are with best odds and money back guarantees, as that is such a dangerous slope to even think about.
Oh well, here we go again for the 1000 Guineas run over a mile on 1st May at 1540. There are sixteen runners, all three year old fillies, racing for a first prize of £297,019. That is a lot of kibble!
My first choice is Midweek quoted at 20/1 so I am putting one unit of kibble each way and if she finishes in the first three places I will get a return. She has been brought over from France especially for this one race and has already come second this season and can cope with the distance. My second choice is Jet Setting quoted at 16/1 and again I am placing one kibble each way.
This is desperate straits backing medium priced runners each way but I have had to do something to recover my position and win some kibble this weekend.
Good luck again.
