Above Knucklas

Strolling up into the
green and humpy hills
– views close, and further off;
cotton-wool clouds above
like a perforated ceiling
a little lower than the
shining blue of doming sky.
In the valley below,
the Knucklas viaduct
for scenic Heart of Wales train-line
– solid lasting stone.
Peace not really broken by
infrequent cars
running the ridge road,
and the returning steep and twisted lane.

Hi Rhiannon
Hi Rhiannon
I too liked the doming sky and the humpy hills.

Hi Rhiannon,]
Hi Rhiannon,]
your visit reminded me of rambles up on the ridge way not far from where I live. Being so high up and looking down can be so exhilarating. Your words summed up the photos perfectly.
As always I so enjoy your rambles in the countryside.
Jenny.
