i've always been quite honest
mr. lincoln's biggest fan
no trickery or balderdash
a conscientious man
.
my eyes, when they beheld you
saw the road to true romance
though not a fan of thievery
i stole a sideways glance
.
i fished for ways to make you mine
you seemed to take the bait
when things advanced a little bit
i asked you for a date
.
my lips, when they first met you
felt a need to feel your bliss
though not a fan of robbery
i stole a little kiss
.
our love developed quickly
like a favourite photograph
our joys in life were doubled
with our sorrows cut in half
.
my world revolves around you
you've become a vital part
you're not a fan of burglary
but yet you stole my heart

Lovely and economical and brushed with quirky personality. 'our love developed quickly/like a favourite photograph/our joys in life were doubled/with our sorrows cut in half' is my favourite stanza. Sweet work
