If I, lumbering bearlike onto your decorated stage
Discovered a beauty not needing to be saved
Yet brittle like a bird within a cage
I'm sorry, I did not mean it.
If you, waltzing by my ice-cold cave
Wakened in there this unpolished knave
Broken like a warrior near his grave
I'm sorry, I could not help it
If we, dancing forwards to different beat
On occasion step on one anothers' feet
Making either snarl or greet
Forgive me, and we'll work it

This is very good. It's polished and balanced and has some good imagery - especially the bear, liked that. The rhyming and repetition are used to good effect.
