I Am Strength

and my wings

powerful -- to carry me.  

 

From updraft currents

I can shriek,

 

with a voice of

contentment --

 

soaring up, then down

and around;

 

I surround the

forest with

 

my seeking.

Hi Rhiannon,

This can refer to whatever the reader feels. I deliberately left it wide open so the reader can more easily relate to the poem, if they can participate in its creation and completion. My own thought is an eagle. R. .
