Wild Daffodil Wood

Delicate wild daffodils
scattered on the woodland floor,
dainty clumps of leaves poke through
crisp leaves fallen long before.
With the onward march of March
more buds grow and swell, unpeel,
sunbeams falling through bare trees
a lemon host reveal.

Such a pretty poem. Makes me
Such a pretty poem. Makes me feel like spring is near.

I hoped you come up with another beautiful nature poem Rhiannon and you haven't disappointed.
Perfect for the magic of the season and put a smile on my face. I also loved the photo too.

Lovely little poem, captures their pretty, yellow freshness. You can't ignore them when they whisper 'Cheer up spring is coming'.
