Splashing lights
Bright colours,
The shuffling of bodies; the crunching of music, of conversation;
Flickering prospects;
the doors flik-flak open and closed.
She flows through the gaps,
A mercury lady,
Unalloyed silver.
A mist of silence, a touch of magic.
The world slows,
Shutter speed doubles,
The rhythm picks up where it left off.
