Evening Song
By Rhiannonw
- 2949 reads
Rich, deep trilling,
chuckles, gurgles twirling,
tickle, thrilling,
short, sharp whistles
mellow whirring,
fluted, languid, stirring
piercing, drilling
through the evening air
invade the ears:
startling, compelling,
invigorate, captivate
the wakened mind that hears.
