FLIGHT

Beneath blue skies
You take your route
In haste you reach out
To help the helpless hand
One of our selfless souls
That still roams our land
Beneath blue skies
You take your flight
A beacon of hope
For the stranded in the night
Our own angels walking in the light
Beneath blue skies
A warm heart throbs
Belying the tired eyes
Alerted and with precision hands are checking the Helicopter probs
Beneath blue skies
You swept by
Rushing with your special cargo
There's no time to waste
If only all hungered
and had a Samaritan taste
Your presence dims all the cruelty and lies
....For all the medical staff working over the festive season and responds to daily emergencies.....

emergency services
Firefighters and paramedics are the noblest of the emergency services, perhaps even the noblest of any occupation. Many of my best friends are firemen or were, they don't lack in courage. They save lives and protect the community without any violence, rather putting themselves in danger for others, instead of arresting people or shooting them and other forms of unpleasant things including some not-so-nice things like threatening you or writing out tickets or expecting bribes.
Christmas is nearing again! &
