Presumption of Innocence

I feel for Bill Posters who will be prosecuted.
We don’t know why but it is a fait accompli.
Will there be a trial and may he be executed?
 
All sort of questions are asked by his friends.
They strongly believe he is being persecuted
because his opinion of the authorities offends
 
the sensitivities of those who are in power
and unresponsive to the need of the people
as they are cocooned in their ivory tower.
 
I am sure that poor Bill is entirely innocent
and even if he has made any transgression
he will be apologetic and be a true penitent.
 
We must hope common sense will prevail:
let’s hear the charges, which will be disputed,
but in the meantime release William on bail.
