Friends

Friends -

Friends are the music and you are the song , it accompanies  you your whole life long and when you sing 

everything sounds ok , straight from the heart  your troubles go away .

Friends will carry you when you can’t go on , you’ll see their footprints when everyones gone , when the sands of time are washed by the tide , your friends will be there , standing by your side .

Friends are always there when you're feeling down , they give you wings to lift you from the ground  and take you to the places of the heart  that’s where you can find a new place to start .

Friends listen to the things you like to say and smile to let you know that it’s ok . You can be yourself whenever they’re there ,  you can live as if you haven’t a care .

The comforting word , the touch of a hand  , friends will always tell you they understand .

The Knock at the door , the walk in the park  , friends will always be the light in the dark .

Friends are in the places we like to go , they are the colours in the life we know ,  when we’re growing old our friends keep us young  , reminding us when our friendship begun .
